Meet the Instructors

Watching Angie interact with owners and their dogs will make you understand why she does what she does. Using hand signals and body language to get her beloved dog Tra (pronounced "tray"), her class demonstration dog and her therapy dog, is one of the many talents that showcase Angie's commitment to her clients.

Tra, a rescued Doberman is a certified American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (CGC). Angie and Tra are both associate members of Therapy Dogs Incorporated (TD Inc.), where they participated and completed a therapy dog test allowing them to become a registered therapy dog team. With over a decade of therapy dog volunteering, she's been a CGC evaluator since 2009 and the Assistant Coordinator for Doctors Hospital Therapy Dog Program. Angie founded Central Ohio Good Shepherds chapter of TDI and served as the founder/director from 1998 to 2007. Since 2009 Angie has been an associate member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). In 2007, Angie was named as one of the finalist for the prestigious Jefferson Awards for the state of Ohio. In addition to being a dog enthusiast Angie assisted with the training of her horses and showed horses from 1965 to 1992. She was also involved with thoroughbred race horses from 1993 to 2000.

Debby has always had a love of animals and really got involved in Therapy Dog work  after

learning/watching Angie and Tra at work. Debby took her dog Mischa to Angie's Therapy

Dog  Class in early 2015 and passed the class and the Canine Good Citizen Test. Afterwards,

Debby and Mischa had their observations from TD Inc. and passed with flying colors to become

an offical Therapy Dog Team! Mischa really enjoys visiting people and making them feel happier and loved.

They are a volunteer team at Doctors Hospital West.
